KEPAMID 66(the product name of polyamide 66) is one of the thermoplastic engineering plastics produced by Korea Engineering Plastics Co. Ltd.


KEPAMID 66 molecular structure and polymerization
 
Polyamide 66 has an amide bond (NHCO) of polyamide and it's polymerized with
   hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid.
 

KEPAMID Polyamide 66 resin characteristics
 
Good mechanical properties
Good thermal property and offers long term heat resistance between 80 and 140℃
Good chemical resistance and oil resistance
Good injection molding properties
Various GF reinforced grades from 15% to 45%
Self-extinguishing property and flame retardant grades are UL94 V-0 rate.
Good friction and wear properties
Relatively high moisture absorption rate
